We have all had a brilliant first day.
All of the children have managed to make their beds and unpack their belongings without much help! Once we arrived we found our rooms, had some lunch and found out our activity groups. We then spent the afternoon taking part in team building activities; getting our teams over towers, isotope – which required coordination and teamwork as well as balancing on beams and solving the tyre triangle.
Dinner was fish and chips which everyone loved – this evening we have been out for a night hike through the woods to the top of the hill near the centre. Everyone is now tucked in bed and hopefully soon asleep!
