Maple were lucky enough to welcome Aaron and Anna as part of our work on Parliament week. We learnt about the roles of MP’s, House of Commons and House of Lords and thought about what makes a good politician and the qualities we think they should show. We also spent time thinking about the election points we would put in our manifestos if we were creating our own party. At the end of the afternoon we spent time asking Aaron questions about what had inspired him to become invloved in politics.
We also thought about questions that we would like to ask our MP David Johnston which we sent to him. He was king enough to send us a video back answering our questions.
