Trip to Sutton Courtenay Nature Reserve

Last term, we spent a very wet day in Sutton Courtenay learning about the different senses. We began the day by looking at animals which have very good senses and then we went outside to explore. We had a listening task and then we used our eyesight to hunt for different items in the reserve. We also played a game where we had to search for mice like an eagle would.

After lunch we looked at beetle larvae and felt how they tickled our skin. We also made some smelly smoothies using herbs from the herb garden.
