Maple were lucky enough to take part in a Space explorer day at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. During the day we took part in a live link to an underground mine, explored their planetarium, learnt about different clouds and how they are formed as well as examining different rocks using the microscopes. We got to see the ISIS neutron and Muon Source which explores different materials on an atomic scale and also had great fun programming the robots to visit the different planets.
