As part of Willow’s Rainforest topic we have become more aware of the importance of trees. The school have been given many trees by the Woodland Trust to put in the school grounds. Willow class explained that trees are like the lungs of the earth and they help to reduce harmful gases. The trees will grow to provide shade and beauty but also will help to offset the fumes from staff and parents cars.
The trees were planted this afternoon on a very muddy field!!!! Sorry parents – we tried to clean the shoes!
