Welcome Back to term 1B!
I hope you’ve all had a restful half-term and that the children are ready for the run up to Christmas! This term we continue our learning about Railways, basing our English, art, DT, history and topic work around railways. This term is a more art and DT based approach following on from all the learning completed last term about significant individuals in the history of the railways. Thank you for continuing to send in home learning, I have been very impressed with the commitment Willow Class as a group show to their home learning. We have had a great response with the various activities and models, which are now displayed in our classroom. Home learning is sent out on a Wednesday and is due for return by the following Tuesday.
PE continues to be on a Monday with Mr Parish and Friday with myself. We sometimes need to do PE out on the playground and as the temperatures drop please include tracksuit bottoms and a warm top if possible. Please continue to encourage reading at home so that the children can earn reading raffle tickets.
