On Friday I gave a presentation in Maple, Oak and Beech Class about sailing. I was telling them about how I am thrilled to taking part in the the French National Sailing Competition, as a member of the GBR team – I even showed them my jacket with my name on! I have trained hard for this moment; having sailed my boat for three years and competed in lots of different events. The boat I sail is an Optimist; I am in the boat on my own although there is a safety boat sailing out there with us. Throuhgout the years I have sailed in varying weather conditions, it can be extremely cold if you capsize!
