Poplar class were lucky enough to take part in a music festival hosted by County Music Service where they got to meet Julia Donaldson and The Gruffalo. Poplar, along with children from lots of other primary schools had been learning songs from the Gruffalo within their own schools. Finally as the actual day arrived lots of extremely excited children (and adults) got on the coach to take part in the actual performance. They all had an absolutely wonderful time performing the songs they had learnt and wrote some fantastic letters to Julia Donaldson when they got back to school.
