On Tuesday DJ – Gary Smith paid us a visit. He came to thank everyone for their hard-work and dedication raising funds for the Oxford Soup Kitchen. He spoke to the school, explaining about the work that they do and the huge help that the money raised will do to help. Emily and Lily spoke about their experiences when they went to help; he was very impressed with the way that the children took part in worship, their participation, singing and prayers.
At the end of the worship Alice, Lilly and Caitlin presented Gary with the £260 they had raised. They will be going to help at the kitchen in the near future.
The five fundraisers have been nominated for an Oxfordshire Junior community award.
