On Friday 11th January it was our whole school outdoor learning afternoon. In Willow we completed two activities. The first was a science investigation to answer the question: ‘Do all plants lose their leaves in winter?’ After investigating the school grounds we found out that not all plants do and we also identified a variety of different plants that are evergreen all year round.
After this we created outdoor cave art using a range of different materials, including chalk and whiteboard pen. See our amazing efforts below! It was great to spend the afternoon outdoors on a lovely winters afternoon.
