In Willow the Year 3s and 4s separated for our reasoning maths lesson this week. Year 4 joined Poplar Class to work with the Year 1s and the Year 3s stayed in Willow to work with the Year 2s.
We worked in groups of 3 to play the game ‘Strike it Out’ from the fantastic NRich website. We took it in turns to add and subtract and strike out our numbers lines! We soon discovered that if we added numbers that were too low, we wouldn’t be able to cross out all of the numbers on the number line.
