During maths week, Oak Class have been having lots of fun learning about shapes.
On Monday we played with triangles and found that there are lots of different types of triangles.
On Tuesday we were playing with squares and thinking about the difference between squares and rectangles. We made squares of different sizes using lolly sticks. We had to make sure every side was equal.
We made squares with blocks and recognised some of our square numbers from Numberblocks. We measured some shapes to check whether they were squares or rectangles.
