Maple Class were lucky enough to visit BayLab in Reading to take part in a Science workshop about Honey Bees and test out the chemical properties of honey. We had a fantastic day learning all about different honey, what makes the taste different and the importance of bees. Whilst in the lab we got to test out the chemical properties of honey, finding out that it is slightly acidic as well as pretending to use our own proboscis to see which group could transfer the most liquid!
