Poplar Class have been learning to retell a story through acting in groups. Their challenge today was to show the emotions of the characters through their facial expressions and body language. Wow, they certainly rose to the challenge!

Max was being mischievous.
So his mum sent him to bed without any supper.
Max felt sad and angry.
Suddenly, his room turned into a forest!
An ocean appeared and Max sailed off in his own boat… to where the wild things are!
They roared at Max but he tamed them with a magic trick.
“Let the wild rumpus start!”
