KS2 Interhouse netball tournament

Over the last two weeks Beech and Maple Class took part in a interhouse netball tournament.  Here are some of the children’s reports.

The netball tournament was great fun, Mrs Howard was our umpire; she was a really good one too.  It was such fun getting to play real matches, my favourite was Backshall v Aderin-Pocock – that match was my favourite because I felt like I played my best in that match.

Maple and Beech class split into our house teams and each seleted a netball team to play in the tournament.  Mrs Howard was our umpire, she was brilliant as she supported and helped everyone.  Some of the matches were very intense with some great goals scored – there were some really high scoring matches.  Thank you also to Miss Priddle and Mrs Kirkham for coaching and helping us to learn the rules.  It was so much fun to take part we would definitly recommned it to other school.

The netball tournament was a really tough fought competition.  No matter how hard the matches were everyone was amazing especially our umpire Mrs Howard.  Some of the games were very high scoring and there were some superb goals scores.  Congratulations to everyone that took part in the St Blaise netball tournament.
