Harvest Service

We had a beautiful Harvest Service at school on Wednesday – it was fantastic to have so many parents join us.  All the children brought in items of food which we are donating to the food bank in Didcot.  As part of the service Oak and Poplar class sang us a great song about being a farmer, Willow played a quiz game guessing where different foods came from and Maple read our poems and prayers they had written thinking about those in parts of the world such as Indonesia where they are struggling to get clean water and food.  The children sand their Harvest songs so well it made the service a real celebration.
