Groovy Greeks trip to the Ashmolean Museum

After a term of delving into the ‘Groovy Greeks’, Beech class could not wait to get to the Ashmolean museum to see all of its hidden treasures. They explored the exhibits about everyday life in Ancient Greece, completed a statue hunt in the Cast Gallery and handled various artefacts before spending the afternoon focusing on the Minoan Crete exhibit and the artefacts related to our Greek Myth – Theseus and the Minotaur.

They were amazed to discover real-world objects and artefacts excavated from King Minos’s palace grounds. It was a fantastic day of exploration and learning!
