The fire service came to visit us this week in Poplar. We found out about the importance of smoke alarms and how loud they are! In an emergency it is so important that we know to ring 999 and the emergency services that are available. We also need to know our house address so the emergency services can find us if we’re at home.
We then found out about all the important clothing a fireman wears and why.
If our clothes caught fire we learned we had to stop, drop and roll.
We then were really lucky to explore the fire engine….
…and sit inside!
