Developing positive playgrounds
Danny Taylor with Maple class today as part of our work developing play leaders. Maple considered what the qualities of a good play leader are. They learnt three new games that they can use on the playground. The key to good playground games is – keep it simple with very little equipment.
The three groups designed their own games then taught them to Poplar class. They had to consider the equipment, their roles in the game and then how to teach it. It was challenging to teach the games and the groups had to keep adapting. Poplar class loved it and were very excited.
