On Tuesday Beech Class began their Court Hill adventure. After arriving on site they spent time using the woodlands to build dens. Teams were challenged to create shelters with natural materials.
Later that morning we looked for invertebrates, we found a variety of spiders, snails, slugs and frogs. There were also different beetles and aphids. Other groups made Andy Goldsworthy style pictures of invertebrates.
In the afternoon we walked to the Ridgeway. The Ridgeway is the oldest road in Britain. It is 87 miles long. We were very pleased to find a horse chestnut tree, it was loaded with conkers. We gathered 300 just for our maths lessons!
