Cooking in Beech

This term Beech are finding out about how we can stay healthy.  This week we discussed the importance of breakfast. After discussing the best breakfast options we worked in house teams to make toast with different healthy toppings. During the session we thought about health and safety, we learned to chop safely and we used the toasters.  Once the toppings were made groups them and evaluated their ideas.  There were some very successful flavours and some – marmite and banana – that were less successful.  We hope the class will show independence at home and keep cooking!
