Column Testing in Maple Class

In Maple class we have been investigating the shapes of columns used in Roman buildings.  Initially we wondered if cylindrical columns would be the strongest as that it what the Roman used, however we decided that we should test and prove this.  We made cylindrical, triangular and hexagonal prisms to test out; as part of our investigation we discussed the things we could change and the things we must keep the same in our tests, we also thought about how best to record and present our results.
