E-Safety

St Blaise is committed to seeing every child flourish in our care. We love to see the children inspired and we are proud of how creative and innovative they are when using different technologies. The children and staff are constantly using the iPads, the laptops and other communication tools to help our learning and we have a wide range of strategies and resources in place to make sure every child is safe and secure when online.

These websites are packed full of information about e-safety for parents and children:

Parent’s Guide to Internet Safety Introduction. Raising children can suddenly make the world seem a frightening and dangerous place. While you may have grown up …

The children learn about e-safety throughout the year. We focus on Cyberbullying each November to coincide with Anti-Bullying Week. Each February we celebrate Safer Internet Day and Poplar won last year’s competition in Oxfordshire with their e-safety rap. (Jude – could you put the rap here – it’s on the page already) Each class has an e-safety focus for a half a term in the Summer.  This year Oak and Poplar will be using the Lee and Kim resources.
